Cillian Murphy Introduces Steve at European Premiere in Cork
An Unforgettable Weekend at The Arc Cinema, Cork City Centre

This weekend, The Arc Cinema in Cork City Centre was proud to play host to a truly special occasion as part of the Sounds From a Safe Harbour Festival. We welcomed the European Premiere of Steve — a powerful new film starring Cillian Murphy.
Cillian was joined on the night by Festival Founder & Director Mary Hickson, Director Tim Mielants, Writer Max Porter, and Producer Alan Moloney, as our cinema transformed into the stage for this remarkable event. We were also honoured to have Taoiseach Micheál Martin in attendance among the distinguished guests.
In a gesture that delighted audiences, Cillian personally introduced the film in all six of our auditoriums. His performance on screen is as magnetic as ever — and Steve has already proven itself to be a moving, unforgettable piece of cinema.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Sounds From a Safe Harbour Festival for bringing such incredible energy and creativity to Cork over the weekend. It was a privilege to be part of the celebration.
Steve opens at all Arc Cinema locations across Ireland from Friday, 19 September.
